My question is: Has anybody changed the water pump & thermostat on this particular car? If you have, I need advice on how to attack this beast. I've got the Bentley manuals, I've watched the Bav Auto videos and neither of them do justice to the obstacles blocking my accessing the hose clamps on the water pump. In the videos, things are slightly difficult to access, but doable... My car has a giant frame and cross member blocking even viewing the clamps, let alone taking them off.
