Hi All, I usually post on e38, however I'm almost finished on a manual conversion on my buddy's '90 735i.
The trans program was easy to bypass and the jumper to start the car was also easy.
I'm having trouble finding where to connect the reverse light switch wire from the tranny. I looked at the wiring diagram and I have been using the nmia.com to do the conversion yet he doesn't give a good description about the reverse wiring. I also pulled the two wires for the reverse switch off the old plug on the auto trans shifter, but I'm not sure that is the right wire combo.
Also after the doors are closed and the interior lights go out the reverse lights come on?
