96 BMW 740il...Rear light issue

My rear passage light doesn't work.....all bulbs are good, new in fact. I found a wire loose on the connector and just using my fingers touched the wire to its proper connection. All the lights worked so I just had to solder the wire. So in preparing this I left car running and shorted out something to do with this rear light relay or fuse. Also the driver side lights all work. There was power to passage light but I think I shorted the relay out. My question is where is the relay for the rear passage tail lights? Or even if it is a relay.
