Hello -
I am a new user. Yesterday, my 2004 330CI, 114K mileage (with SMG), started up and I received a dashboard indicator F with Exclamation Point in the Cog followed by N.
I have seen this indicator a few times over the years that I have owned the car, and after turning it off and restarting the indicator would not appear. This time however, it has gone into limp mode and the indicator has not gone away.
I checked for codes and did not see any indicated with the OBD.
I lifted the car, and based on some DIY videos I have seen on youtube, tried to find the transmission pan without success.
I did read some of the posts that seemed related to my experience. I am contemplating changing the transmission fluid myself.
Has anyone, who owns a 2004 330 ci with SMG, who had a similar dashboard indicator, have any advice/guidance to offer me?
Thank you.
