Blower motor fan and resistor

My A/C blower motor does not work , it works only at the highest level and I think it is the blower motor fan .I checked the resistor and got it replaced , still no air on 1 , 2 , 3 setting and early morning I get air on max(4).
Its a 95 bmw 318is my question is OEM part # 64 11 8 390 208 is going to cost a bundle , will an after market part be ok ?
