The front input shaft seal on my differential is leaking at a steady pace. I plan to buy a new seal ($40!), six new 16mm lock nuts, drop the diff and do the job. However, I made an observation while under the car, how do you properly torque the propeller driveshaft 16mm nuts to the flange during the reinstall? There is not enough room for a socket and torque wrench. Would using a crowfoot wrench and calculating the new applied torque be just as effective?
Anything else I should change/replace while I'm at it?
