I'm thinking about selling my 533i and moving on to other cars. Let me say I love this car. Its unique, fun, and enjoyable to drive.
It starts everytime with no issues even when it was -6 this winter it started without any issues. It has a great working heater.
Working A/C although the fan sometimes makes a little noise.
New plugs, plug wires, distributor cap, ignition rotor, front rotors, front pads, idler arm, water pump, belts, center support bearing, guibo and newer tires with about 5-6k on them. The mileage on the car is unknown to me, I bought it with the odometer stopped at 157k which I was told it had stopped recently.......I currently has a cluster in it that has 261k because all the gauges weren't workign when I bought it. Now all of the gauges function as they should.
It does smoke alittle on start up sometimes after sitting for abit and does leak alittle oil as well.
On heavy rain the floor board does get alittle wet, I suspect the windshield seal.
And there IS RUST. The on various parts of the car. like the lower inner doors, and the corner fronts of the floor boards.
This isn't a show car the paint is very patinaed. It does sometime idle rough not crazy like something is wrong just not new car smooth...
