Hi guys
I have a 2002 e65 740d, absolutely love it. I have been getting some errors on it though.
Runs and drives good but as soon as I hit around 100kmph (60mph) the transmission goes in to kind of a safe mode, shifts down to 3rd gear and gives me the trifecta lights (shown in pictures) and the i-drive gives me an error saying:
No display of gear position. Selection of gears reduced. Engaging gear without brake possible. Have the problem checked by the nearest BMW Service.
Followed by:
Driving stability could be affected when accelerating and cornering. Have the problem checked by BMW Service as soon as possible.
And then:
Vehicle leans more steeply when cornering. Avoid high speed cornering. Have checked by BMW service.
And my dash says: DSC faliure Drive moderately.
I send my DSC module to Module Repair Pro for repair but they told me that the module could not be repaired because "the main processor has failed, and unfortunately, this is a non-repairable failure." So I ordered a new one from them.....
Had the new module coded to my car and a new battery, cleared all codes went for a ride and the same thing happened at 100km/h, codes that came up after that where:
931B: KOMBI: Outside temperature (I knew about that one since my thermometer is missing)
A3AA: No message from transmission control unit, receiver KOMBI, transmitter ACC
A3B3: No message from active roll stabilisation, receiver KOMBI, transmitter ARS
Sorry about the long post, just wanted to be clear about that is going on :D
