But what kind of problems should I look for that would be extremely expensive/hard to fix?
And what kind of noises should I listen for when I go to check it out?
He says it runs, just not very well.
It's an '84 318i, so It's a pretty old model.
I know I should check for rust, and see how the floorboards are doing, I'm mostly worried about looking for the mechanical problems that will be a pain.
I'm planning on having this as a project car anyways, but I just want to make sure I wont have to drop a ton of money into it to fix something major off the bat.
