Had a V8, got a V12...

So, after some months of fighting with limited space and time on my 2000 540iT (07/99), I went out and bought a 1998 750iL (05/98). Both are black on grey. Car had ~143K on it, and I bought it for nearly nothing. It's a bit rough, but runs and drives, and I've put 450+ miles on it in 3 days. I'm used to the E39's, and from what I can see a lot of things are similar. But something I've never encountered before is how my lights are setup.

Headlights and markers are always on when the car is on. As are the gauge lights. I think that's been coded as such, but I'm not certain. The harness doesn't look all that hacked up (actually, not hacked up at all) but I haven't done a deep dive into it yet.

I'm also getting a CEL. Carly (BMWhat) tells me it's "LR-Adaption multipl. Area1 (Bank2) / Lambda controller adaptation QL additive OBDII fault! Code: 001B ABS /" I only get it at idle, and only when in park thus far. Also, the car has been at a bit of an angle, either front / back or side / side.

Now the rest of the list:
- The fenders need to be replaced, due to damage from cut springs. Anything special to note about replacing them?
- Speaking of springs, I have EDC and SLS (guessing just rear, but not sure). I'd like "moar low" than stock, but still very drivable on gravel roads (I live out in the country. Muddy roads isn't really a concern)
- Brakes. Suggestions for slightly better than OEM? This is not a need, just a want.
- Wheels. Wanting 18" style 37's (M-PAR) but considering 19" Verde Quantum in 19x8.5/9.5.
- Exhaust. It's also been cut. Looks to be about axle back. There are some very nice headers and full racing exhausts available, but I don't feel like dropping 10K. Suggestions on something that sounds decent but is also breathable?
- Engine. It will be getting a tune. I think one of the cats might be clogged or getting there, so maybe it's time to do a cat delete?
- Seats. Any reason not to do sport seats? I already have a set, and they color match.
- Lights. Can I go pre LCI to post LCI easily, or do I have to change the LCM and harness? Does this apply to CELIS tail lights as well?
- Doors. They're on the hinges, but free swinging. The bar that holds them in place (having a senior moment, can't think what they're called) is disconnected on drivers side front and rear
- Glass. The door windows are de-laminating or broken. But the glass is thick. The car isn't a protection model, so am I missing something?
- Window regulators and frames. If I'm going to be in the doors anyway, should I replace these? I can get a new set for $175 for all 4 regulators, and another $100 for the frames. They aren't OEM, but appear to be of decent quality
- Steering wheel. I have a couple spare sport wheels. Considering trying to refit one with the heated steering wheel option and put that in the car. It did come with this option, so it's just moving it to a different wheel.
- PDC is not working. Suspect bad sensors, but will have to actually look at it.

What's been done already:
- 4x3 to 16x9 LCD swap
- MK2 to MK3 NAV swap

I originally bought the car to flip it and pay for more parts for the E39. But 'dat V12 has me, and some how I get better mileage than with a 5.4 V12 than I do with a 4.4 V8. 20.1MPG thus far, 98% freeway, with 10% being stuck in traffic.
