Have a little issue with my HVAC/Blower in my 92 850i. When I first got the car the blower would function fine, after some time it became intermittent (cycle on/off while working at any speed). Then it got to a point where it wouldn’t work at all. After reading a few threads, things seemed to point to the “sword”.
Before changing the sword, I made sure the blower was good by applying voltage directly to it. Worked fine.
I then changed the Sword with a rebuilt unit and still no luck. I know the main relay in the sword was working as I could hear it click when set to full speed.
I tried bypassing the sword with a relay as per (http://ift.tt/1JwQagZ) , but still no luck. I know the relay was working as I could hear it click when set to full speed.
What would you guys suggest I check/do next?
