My car is still stumbling off the line and has pretty poor performance below 3k rpm. Bouncing idle occasionally. Struggles with a/c on. I have no CEL. Could my knock sensor be holding back on the car without lighting up a CEL? Is there a way to test them? Could an O2 sensor cause issue with no codes? Thanks.
recent work:
I did a besian seal job about 7 months ago with no noticeable change.
I powered the vanos solenoid at idle and it nearly killed the engine.
I replaced my camshaft position sensor with a quality part.
I did a vacuum leak check with an air compressor and my ear. Holds enough pressure.
Fuel pressure is perfect.
Clean and have replaced MAF
Cleaned and have replaced ICV
New intake boot and intake seals.
