I feel silly asking this, but I bought a set of nice stock e21 seats to replace my tattered ones. They cleaned up nicely but the seller had poached the passenger seat belt receiver for another project. I honestly don't know how the hell he got it off! (second photo) :help
I'm trying to swap my old one onto the new seat and, maybe it's the wine I had earlier, I can't figure out how to do it without removing the mushroom rivet at the end of the heavy z-bar that spans the seat. Anyone shed a little light on this for me? Searched and read a few threads but didn't seem to deal with the issue. Thanks!
