I found a 91 318i convertible in pretty great shape body wise and it runs well but according to the CarFax report it has only be driven 3,000 miles in the last 12 years - but passed emissions every four years. It does look garage kept, in mint condition for the most part, with only 85k on it.
Should I be concerned about the sitting disease - bad seals and whatnot? Doesn't look to be leaking anything, the undercarriage is the driest of any e30 I've ever seen.
The car comes with all original paperwork but no service records beyond what the carfax has:
2002@ 52,072
Oil Changed
Recommended Maintenance Performed
2002@ 64,748
Oil Changed
2002@ 73,763
Drivability check
Cooling system check
Brakes checked
2002@ 78,821
Brakes checked
2003@ 82,743
AC Check
2009 @ 82,743
All in all, at $7k would you be worried?
