This is from Bavarian Autosport's Blog on BMWs and Mini's:
4. Liqui-Molys Jectron and Ventil Sauber - Use this dynamic duo to clean the fuel system and control carbon build-up on valves. We recommend a program that starts with a can of Jectron ($7) in one tank of gas, followed by a can of Ventil Sauber ($5) in the next. (We like to refer to this as our $12 tune-up.) We suggest you then alternate the two additives monthly; for example, Jectron in August, Ventil Sauber in September, etc. This regimen does wonders for engine performance.
My philosophy is never put anything in the gas tank other than (premium) gas at the pump. No additives. Never.
But, since I think Bavarian Autosport is a company who actually knows something about bmw's, and since Liqui Moly's are German products, I'd like to hear from the forum experts what you guys think about the $12 tune-up thing.
