New to this site but have been on the E24 for years. I retired just under two years ago and took a part time job. The problem was that I had had a company vehicle for twenty five years. I now needed a commute vehicle.
Bering a BMW freak since dirt was new, I had to find one.
I found this: 1985 318i (now the second one I have owned). It is in wonderful shape for being thirty years old. It has a few body dings and the odometer doesn't work. I have had it since Feb. 2014. Upgrades, so far are Bavauto 8mm wires and Hella headlights. My driving to work is at night.
