I am parting out a '93 M5 in Oxnard, CA. The car has just under 140k miles on it and still ran before it was parted due to a bad body. The interior was sold but the gauge cluster, steering wheel, dead pedal and door sills remain.
I have the engine up for $4,200 with strong compression, VAC ignition coils, S52 timing chain tensioner, and a few other parts that were installed by the previous owner. The only issue I ever had with the engine was that there was evidence of gunk in the coolant reservoir that was there when I bought the car. I put 3k miles on the car before noticing it. I cleaned it out, replaced the coolant with some BMW blue and it all looks good. The car pulled hard and did not overheat. It is still in the car and is able to be ran and/or tested.
I have the wheels, throwing star covers, brakes, sway bars, 3.73 LSD, and other misc. parts from the car.
Rear subframe, tail lights, bumpers, Motorsport handles, mirrors, and most of the interior are already sold.
I know this is kind of a lazy ad but I have a lot going on and anything that I can't get rid of will go into storage for a long while by mid-August.
S38 with DME, harness and all accessories - $4,200
G280 with 89k miles - $1,200
Brakes with 10k on rotors - $300
Sway Bars - $250
Naked M-Sytems painted black, one with gouge on inner barrel from brake disc - $700
Throwing Star Covers - $380
M5 Sills - $150
Steering wheel, needs 8" of stitching repaired - $100
M Dead pedal - $50
3.73 LSD - $1,000.
