My 1993 325i is having problems that seem like they might be the fuel pump. When I am driving there is no issues. Once I stop at a red light or something, it revs on it's own between 750rpm (normal) all the way down to near 0rpm. We thought at first it was only when the tank was low, but today it happened when we were past 3/4 tank. It seems as though it is the fuel pump, like it's getting fuel to the engine, and then not, and then it is, and then it isn't, and so on. The fuel pump was changed recently before I got it, but it's possible they did it wrong or put in a used fuel pump.
