So before I tell you my problem I'll explain exactly what's been done to my car then we will go into the issue.
2001 325i sedan
180k miles
Automatic transmission
-car was bone stock when I took ownership and had a blown pump seal on the transmission leading to the previous owner burning all the clutches up completely.
First thing I did was a 5 speed swap. Everything mechanically works fine. The car was never hooked up to the gt1 to be re-flashed with manual trans coding and I've never had any issues with driving until now.
Just yesterday the car was fine, driving fine as usual. My major project for the day was to install my headers and status gruppe exhaust system onto the sedan. This was a large project.
Noteable items are ;
-brand new eBay headers
-brand new sgt exhaust headers back
-new exhaust gaskets everywhere
-new Bosch o2 sensors upstream and downstream
-swapping of the m3 evap system on the trunk pan and two hoses leading to this.
-secondary air pump deletion
Upon initial start up when I had completed the job I had a bad exhaust leak at the header flanges to the exhaust system due to the gaskets being too small. The car was running very rough on the way home as well. Definately in limp mode. When I pressed the gas pedal the car would fall on its face and bog badly as if the plugs were fouled out. This morning I replaced the gaskets at the header flanges and remedied the leak. However the car is still running horribly. I ran my pocket scanner on it to pull codes and I have the following codes
P0715 - input/turbine speed sensor A circuit malfunction
P0705 - trans range sensor circuit malfunction (prndl input)
P1746 - DTC definition not found. See service manual
P0560 - system voltage malfunction
P0720 - output speed sensor circuit malfunction
P0174 - system too lean (bank 2) (just popped up)
Car voltage is 12.3dcv with the car off, 13.3dcv at idle running.
I/m monitors:
misfire monitor - ready
fuel system - ready
comprehen comp - ready
catalyst - not ready
htd catalyst - n/a
evaporative system - not ready
secondary air system - not ready
a/c sys refrigerator - n/a
oxygen sensor - not ready
htd o2 sensor - not ready
exhaust gas rec - n/a
