Wheel Alignment Question - Witch Hunt?

Hey - I wanted to see whether someone can shed some light into my alignment predicament. Last week, I took my car to Goodyear to have the wheel alignment sorted out because the car was drifting slightly to the right. The result was the alignment needed fixing and while Goodyear was able to make improvements, they couldn’t fully adjust the front end. They suggested I replace a part costing $900 near the top of the strut mount which would allow more adjustments which I declined. After leaving the shop, I noticed the car still drifted to the right and to be honest, I did not notice a significant improvement in the handling. I brought the car back to Goodyear and after discussing with the Manager, he refunded me for the alignment cost. Fast forward to a week - Shortly after dropping my car off at Tire Kingdom to have them look at my alignment, I receive a call from the shop stating that my alignment was way off and they would go ahead and perform the work with my permission. A few hours later, I went to pickup my car and they showed me the before and after settings and I noticed the before settings did not look at all like the final settings Goodyear had performed on my car just 1 week earlier. However, the after settings were very similar if not identical to the work Goodyear had done. I questioned the validity of the work and the shop manager told me their computer does not lie and the car came into their shop with a bad alignment even though I did not notice the handling deteriorating over the course of 1 week.

My questions or classification I’m seeking are:

1) Could the alignment be that far off in a space of 1 week considering I only traveled 300 miles to and from work?
2) Could Tire Kingdom have manipulated the printout of the “Before” alignment to paint a negative picture so they could perform the work?
3) Is it coincidental that Tire Kingdom’s “after” alignment result is similar if not identical to the work performed by Goodyear a week earlier?

My next step is to take the car to an independent shop to have the alignment checked in hope to answer the following questions. If the next alignment comes back similar to Tire Kingdom’s results, then there would be justification that my alignment did not go bad in a matter of a week as stated by them and they potentially pulled a fast one for work they never performed. Alternatively, if the alignment comes back bad, then I’ll move on knowing there is a bigger problem with my car.
