Would Love some help/advice re: E46 M3 steering upgrade + FTP's

So I just got my 8 back from the body shop and am currently focusing on a couple of things, but I'd like to bring your attention to these two before we move on.

SO, I have an e46 M(3)/e39 M(5) steering wheel from an 01+ and would like to get it installed in my 850.
My only requirements are that it bolts up and that the horn works.

I found this, however, it doesn't have the newer style that I have.

WILL IT BOLT UP? Is there a new ring that I need to get to make the horn work, or do I need to figure out some way of splicing?

2ND Question for you fine gentleman.

I had no wroking clear FTP's on my Jspec 850. I purchased brand new OEM YELLOW/Smoked FTP's that were installed.
My turn signals work, the FTP's light up if I pull on the high beams to flash someone (and my headlights are off), however, they are not on as DRL's (like my friends car which is the same, but with clear FTP's). I also get an error telling my that fog lights are not working..

SOOOO, am I missing something? I really want them on all the time if I can.... Could it be the wrong type of bulbs?
