Best installed Radar/LASER unit

I just bought a 2012 535ix and really love it, but this is becoming exactly my problem, keeping it under the speed limit is a real challenge. I am going to end up with a load of tickets, or worse, in jail..

So what have people found is the best installed RadarDetector with LASER protection people have used ? I do not want an dash or winshield mounted unit, this makes you a target for police and the hassle of theft/breakin is too much aggravation... what have people put in their cars and who installs best?
