Why is this car so pretty? The Coupe underwent a cosmetic euro conversion to restore the look of the German version. Gone are the ugly bumpers - replaced with the original front and rear bumpers, front spoiler, rear trim pieces, trunk spoiler, and clear turn signals. To complete the upgrades I’ve added 16” BBS RZ Style5 plus 2 wheels. All of the ‘euro’ parts are BMW OEM. I spent a year to procure all of the parts from England and Germany. Engine and transmission are in great condition and are both completely stock except for a short shift kit has been added to reduce the long throws. Shifting is smooth and clutch is strong.
Interior is in beautiful condition. I was lucky enough to find two Recaro powered sport seats, dyed to match the perfect blue interior. Original steering wheel has been replaced by an E30 sport steering wheel. Headliner is tight and complete. Sunroof works.
There is a little bit of rust appearing at both rear fender wells and a little on the top of the front fenders. No rust whatsoever around any structural components.
A minor service was just completed at a well respected local BMW shop. A major service was completed 2,000 miles ago prior to moving the car to Massachusetts.. The Coupe has a current Massachusetts state inspection , having passed in April 2015. I have all service records. Car has a clean title.
I’m selling the Coupe after 12 years of ownership because this beautiful car is hardly ever driven. Cape Cod weather favors my Mercedes CLK convertible.
