The information out there is confusing at best, a lot of differentt threads aamounting to a lot of guesswork
But basically, what is/are the main failure point(s) of the front regulators and are there ways to redesign it to be less likely to fail?
there's a lot of info for the e46 regulators, and even a metal pulley upgrade kit for the e38 but not much for the e39....
There's some "repair kits" on amazon which use a metal slide instead of plastic but they look a little... Cheapo
Not to mention I don't know if this is the only failure point
