I cannot find a way to shut off the heat on the top left and top right vents of the dash. Any ideas? I haven't done my homework yet :)
Tomorrow I am replacing the oil pan gasket, possibly adjusting valves, replacing the valve cover gasket, replacing the control arm and tie rod (passenger side), and cleaning up all the oil that has leaked underneath the car.
I should have some great photos for additional DIYs and the underside of the car.
I will post the DIYs on the E21 forum site.
Today I found the timing advance hose was not hooked up to the distributor. I cleaned up some wiring in the engine bay using zip ties and then cut to fit and hooked up the hose to the distributor. I will post some pictures of the engine bay later tonight or tomorrow.
Any ideas on how to get this heat shut off are welcomed. The heat is only blowing out of the top two vents when the car is warmed up and in motion.
