I am doing some work to my 1999 540i and disconnected the battery. I put my toolbox in the trunk to keep it out of sight of my friends buddies since I am doing the work in his garage. Well, now, I cant get into the trunk because no electricity to the car. I can't fit my tool box through to the back seat either. I tried the key, but no dice. Anyone ever have to deal with this? Is there a secret? Any help is appreciated!
