On highway, at 80 mph, I get 25 mpg without cruise control. Can this be right?
The conventional wisdom is that the almost all gasoline automobile engines are most efficient at 55-60 mph and the mpg suffers significantly if you speed over 65.

It seems my E38 is most efficient at 80 mph.
