Greetings.
I've had an '85 M635CSi for about two years, finally getting around to restoring the exhaust system.
Apparently when imported in the mid 80s, the owner put on a catalytic converter, and heavily modified the exhaust.
They cut and joined the header exit pipes into one large pipe into the cat, then broke it out again to the muffler, yuck.
The OEM exhaust system is dual pipe header to tips.
To my question.
So I have line on some OEM Euro M635CSi headers from Maximillian.
I am eyeing the Supersprint exhaust system from Turner Motorsports, but it looks like it is for North American E24s with a catalytic converter.

If I do the OEM headers and the Supersprint exhaust, isn't there a gap where a cat would go, correct? I'd need to bridge this gap.
Alternatively I could go OEM for the entire exhaust.
Thanks for your time.
Drew.
