Hello all,
'94 325is with 10 speaker hi fi. I recently purchased a set of MB Quart QM components (front kicks, door mids and Polk tweets). I received in the package an MB Quart QM crossover. This crossover has 1 pair of inputs and 3 pairs of outputs (low, mid, and high). I was planning to power these speakers with an HK amp.
It seems I will need to power these with an aftermarket amp if I want to use the MB crossover. My question is, will the sound quality be that different that the change is worth all the added cost and wiring?
I am using a Pioneer head unit with 7 band equalizer, so I can shape the sound pretty well. May go with a newer head unit with time delay functionality.
