Known issues: (I drive this car daily and have no issues because I "deal" with everything, but for a new owner, i would like to be upfront)
- 3rd gear sometimes pops out. Its best to hold 3rd gear in while driving
- Exhaust / engine smell is prevalent in cabin when HVAC system is turned on.
- Chronic P0306 (misfire cylinder 6). Over the years, I've tried to replace everything and the issue still occurs.....spark plugs, coil, harness, injector. Like i said, I "deal" with everything. The car never misfires on me because I found a work around. At a traffic light or stop sign, you need to keep the car above 1k rpm. If you forget to do this, and it misfires, just restart the car and it will reset.
- When it rains, the dash lights up like a Christmas tree in terms of ABS, Brake etc. Brakes work fine, its a sensor issue.

- Sub frame repaired by BMWNA in 2007
- Rear shocks 20k ago
- Radiator, expansion tank, upper hose and fan 5k ago
- Power steering pump 10k ago
- Probably forgetting a lot of things.
