No Start No EML

So I have a no start issue, cranks but no start. I noticed my EML light does NOT light up for a few seconds when key is turned to 2.

I could have sworn that I saw post/s saying this could be the cause a no start situation but I can seem to find any posts on this just rough running/limpmode stuff. I searched this forum and internet.

Can someone confirm if this really could be the cause of my no start.
