I'm getting ready to mount a genuine Alpina front lip and faux Alpina spoiler on my Rosegrun (green/gold) 1977E21.
I decided to do them in black for now with the possibility of switching the lip to body color when/if I do a total repaint.
I'm considering going with Plasti-dip, both because it might be less susceptible to chipping and easy to remove when the time comes. Seems like it also might give the spoiler more of an original rubber-look than standard paint.
On the other hand, it's kinda ricey, and I'm wondering how fast it fades.
Does anybody have any thoughts/experience with the stuff?
