Suspension Repairs

I have a 2001 330ci with just under 145k miles on it. I know the control arm bushings need to be replaced. I'm pretty sure the wishbone's were replaced 8 years ago when I bought the car used so I'm pretty sure I can just replace the bushings. But I'm making a drive from Kentucky to Colorado in a couple weeks and I'm thinking it may be worth it to do an overhaul on the rest of the suspension before making the 1,300 mile drive. Are there any parts I'm likely to need besides the struts/shocks? I always use realoem.com when searching for part numbers and there are several other parts in the diagram of the front and rear suspension. Any special tools that would be helpful? Also, how will I know if I have a the standard or the sport suspension?

Thanks a lot.
