Swapping cushions, passenger to driver's seat?

My '93 525i (Calypsorot/tan) has a very worn-out, cracked driver's seat. Trying to find one in good shape seems to be nearly impossible.
However, there are plenty of decent passenger seats.

Just wondering if anyone has swapped the cushions and how difficult the job is? Pics would help too ;)
