Taking apart stereo for AUX setup

So I would like to tap into my tape cables to provide myself with a 3.5mm setup on my car. But the 3 guides I have left me with a few questions. For reference here are the guides I have bookmarked:
http://ift.tt/1CX8f55
http://ift.tt/1vN6ijY
http://ift.tt/1CX8flk

First concern I have is how to take apart my radio / stereo as mine is different from the ones shown in guides. Here is mine: http://ift.tt/1Mx2DSq as you can see I only notice those two little flaps and that doesnt reveal any screws. So any method to take apart my stereo would be purely random so any advice on that would be greatly appreciated.

And the other question is do I have to use RCA connectors? I notice that both guides used RCA connectors, presumably because there are 4 wires on the tape adapter vs 2 on standard 3.5mm. If I have to use RCA no problem.

Last and final question is could I run the 3.5mm male connector to the ash tray right next to the shifter, currently I NEVER use it, while I could easily put my bluetooth to 3.5mm adaptor in the ash tray and have my car fully bluetooth wired but completely out of sight and invisible.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance everyone!
