Hey, I have never done an engine conversion before, I lost my licence for a few months so took the time to slowly restore a e32 750il, I recently appealed the charges and to my surprise I got my licence back that day.
So now I am at the point the e32 750il is just about done, but I need a car asap, one of the things on my bucket list for life is a e36 with an m60 (m70 would be gold but I suppose I have to live in the real world a little) figured now would be perfect time to acquire the e36 and once it runs out of registration the e32 registered and I can take the e36 off the road and start the m60 swap, as I will only be driving this car for a short time, will it make life much easier to buy a straight 6 over the 4 bangers?
