I received an email Sunday from a gentleman that I met at a grocery store. He told me he had ordered a new Subaru and it was time to part with his beloved e39, and asked if I was interested. The Subaru dealer didn't offer much so he thought if it was going to be cheap it might as well go to an enthusiast or he said I could buy it for work and sell it on the lot. Anyway, it's a 2001 M54 Dinan Stage 3 530i Sport. Black on Black, 156,000 miles, Premium Package, Sport package, cold weather package, Dinan CAI, throttle body, Stage 3 DME software, and adjustable stage 2 suspension(Koni yellow, Dinan springs). The car has comfort seats but otherwise everything else is true sport. Has 19x10.5r/9.5f HRE 543r 3 piece wheels on new Conti DWS tires 275/245. They are SOOPER expensive new but these are 10 years old and the drums are pretty pitted if not completely chipped, and they are chrome. They'll be refinished probably either painted or powdercoated and put on the 540. The 530i is not that quick even as a stage 3 Dinan 5, so I'll probably just sell it after I get it cleaned up. I need to do VCG, fix the airbag sensor in passenger seat (light on), swap the MID because of mostly dead pixels, put my 66's on, it needs some serious buffing and detailing, then I'll sell it. The PO had the car since Dec 2004 and serviced it at Strictly BMW here in Bellevue, same place as my 540 was serviced, but he hooked me up and I really appreciate him for it. The car was starting to need some repairs and so he sold it. The Carfax shows an accident in 2003 but otherwise it's a clean title. Btw it came with a set of stock 17" 42's and 2 almost new Mich PSS in 275/30/19 so if anybody needs some rear PSS in 19" PM me. Here are some photos.
