Hello everyone!
My first post. I've done a lot of searching around for similar issues but haven't found anything exactly like this.
The car in question is a 2000 528i.
The issue:
The blinkers are constantly going out. It has most frequently been the rear blinkers and I go into the box and unscrew and screw back in the bulb and it's fixed, then the other side will go through the same issue. Today the front left blinker went out and the back right blinker went out. I popped the front blinker out and back in and it worked fine, I then did the same thing with the back right bulb and it worked fine, but then the front left bulb stopped working! I gave up and resorted to searching the web for solutions.
This has been a recurring issue for a few months, one goes out, I fix it, then another goes out, I fix it, then the other goes out.
I'm wondering if it could be fuses or some other electrical issue, or if I should swap all the bulbs for brand new bulbs.
I'm not very savvy with BMWs, most of my auto mechanical skills were developed on my 74 VW Super Beetle, so I'm operating on a learning curve but can figure it out if you all have some tips to offer.
