Hi there, I have a 2001 530i manual that the previous owner took a punch to the output drive shaft hub. ( no clue why he did this)
Both sides at the flanged out hub leak and make a mess.
My question is, can I relpace my 2001 530i manual output shafts that are38mm part # 33201229449 with a set of used shafts i found from an 2002 530i automatic with a 32MM dia output shaft part #33201229374
The mating hub diameters are the same but just the shaft diameter seems different.
Also will auto to manual make anything different?
