Very fun and informative forum. I just discovered it today. I have a friend's 1991 325i sitting in my barn, and I'd like some advice on what to do with it. He bought it in California, and drove it to Indiana where it has been sitting for about two years now. He was going to scrap it...so I insisted that he store it at my house until I could think of a better option. I don't know anything about it, but it seemed to good for the scrap yard. I don't really have any money to put into it, or I would love the project.
Overall, it's in desperate need of some love. Needs a radiator, an oil pan gasket, rear struts, both bumpers, and the inside is shredded to hell. But it runs and shifts nice and smooth, and there isn't a spot of rust on this california car.
What's this thing worth? I put it on CL for $1000. It has 220,000 miles on it. I know nothing about these cars.
