Having trouble bleeding the clutch, any suggestions?

Hi

Today I replaced my clutch delay valve (well got rid of it) and while I was at it decided to flush the brake fluid. After removing the old fluid I put in the dummy housing without the CDV. But have not been able to build any hydraulic pressure in the clutch circuit. Bleeding the brakes went just fine and I have good pressure in the brake circuit and no bubbles in the streams coming from the 4 calipers.

However the clutch drops to the floor immediately as I push it and I can't seem to get any pressure in there. Is there some secret I'm missing? I tied using a suction bleeder on the clutch slave valve but it just sputters along and I get more air than brake fluid. Pumping the clutch pedal makes no difference at all it just falls to the floor.

I'd really appreciate it if someone could give me an idea of how to get my clutch working again.

Thanks, Derek
