after getting home from work yesterday, i went to arm the alarm and got three chirps instead of the usual single. checked all doors, hood, trunk - single chirp. all wasn't well, though, as 10 seconds later the alarm started going off. i locked the doors with the key as i needed to jump on a conference call and am just getting around to doing some searching now.
...un/semi/possibly related, upon leaving for the gym around 530a this morning i turn my lights on and get 'taillight failure' on the OBC. one bulb was out so i swapped it with a new one, as well as two others that could have been an issue; still get that same error.
i read a little bit about the GM4 and what it controls - could this have gone bad and be the cause of both issues? i didn't see any mention of it controlling the alarm specifically but it does control the locking/unlocking of the doors in addition to some lighting, 'taillight failure' included...
thoughts?
